Architecture Trends 2022-2023

Today, there is less and less interest in ambitious multi-story buildings with complex architectural elements and bright facades. Modern architecture learns from nature by embracing its simple and natural forms, palette and structure. Here are the main trends for 2022-2023.

New minimalism
It is based on a rational approach to design, thoughtful use of natural resources and an emphasis on quality. Outwardly, such minimalism is expressed in modest natural forms and shades without excessive decorations.

Environmentally clean

Wooden houses today are in demand even among those who can afford complex multi-story structures. Materials for exterior and interior decoration are increasingly produced with natural composition or minimal involvement of chemistry. Most construction waste is recyclable.

Natural palette
The color scale of facades is close to natural. Paints replicate the colors of wood, stones, soil or foliage. To preserve the natural texture of wood or stone, colorless tints are often used.

Energy efficiency
This is one of the main conditions of modern architecture and design, starting from the thoughtful location of the house and high-quality thermal insulation in relation to light, to the installation of panoramic windows and the use of intelligent energy-saving systems.

A close connection with the landscape
Today, the shape and materials of the house repeat the landscape. if there is a forest nearby, there is more wood in the structure, if there are rocks, there are more stones around. The goal is to create a home in harmony with nature. The presence of spacious entrances, balconies, open terraces with the opportunity to admire the surrounding nature is another feature that brings the interior closer to the exterior.
